## 📚 Key Concepts

infiniFi is a protocol designed to amplify returns on existing DeFi platforms like Pendle, Ethena, and AAVE. It applies **fractional reserve banking principles** to maximize yields while maintaining liquidity.

### 🪙 Tokens

* **iUSD (Receipt Token)** — Obtained by depositing USDC into the system. Does not provide interest but can be redeemed or locked for amplified returns.
* **siUSD (Staked Token)** — Obtained by staking iUSD, provides exposure to liquid returns. Instantly convertible back to iUSD.
* **liUSD-xw (Locked Position Token)** — Obtained by locking iUSD, grants access to illiquid returns and governance actions.
